AfroExposure 2011 - African Culture Awakened!

The first annual AfroExposure, entitled Awakening of African Culture, was a unifying and enriching exhibit complete with exhilarating performances and presentations by young talented artists who express appreciation for their heritage through their crafts. The appropriately titled showcase truly was an awakening experience, reminding the audience to honor the past, celebrate the present, and progress towards the future as African culture continues to evolve.

On a night when the skeptics called for darkness and the end of the world a group of African artist who hailed from  Nigeria, Zambia and Trinidad and Tobago brought the light back to the world by showcasing their talents at the second AfroExposure Showcase.

The Fifth Annual African Oscars

The stars of African cinema strolled down the red carpet at the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), the “African Oscars,” it is held annually in Nigeria.  The booming industry is also known as Nollywood.   Showcased were films that make waves globally.

Africans came out to party in North California

Michael BlacksonAfrican Angelz celebrated its first annual fashion show in Sacramento, California on March 6, 2010. The buzz generated about the show was matched by the red carpet festivities and the performances of the evening.
