• Editorial Division
• Marketing and Sales Division
• Information Technology Division

Editorial Division

The Editorial Division of the company is responsible for dictating the tone and overall direction of the publications. This division is led by the Editor in Chief who meets regularly with the Editorial Board to discuss the latest news and opinion trends and discuss what the publication should say on a range of issues.

Section Editors

Section editors are assigned the responsibility of providing relevant content to one of the following sections on the PalavaHut Platform – Worldwide Africa News, African Business, African Entertainment, African Health, African Fashion/Style, African Life Style, African Travel, and African Sports.

Columnist

Columnists are reserved for journalists with opinionated ideas that can spur discussion that fall within the tone of the publication. This is setup for people who have blogging experience and are familiar with various blogging platforms such as Word Press.

Research Assistants

Primary roles would consist of conducting research on stories submitted to the Editorial Board.

Skills and Requirements

Knowledgeable of selected sections
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to develop relationships with industry insiders
Able to dedicate at least 10 hours per week during the performance period

Marketing and Sales Division

The Marketing Division of the company is responsible for delivering a full service of marketing solutions that is tailored to the many clients that currently interact with PalavaHut Inc. In addition this group major responsibility is to promote products and services from all web properties owned by PalavaHut Inc.

Sale Representatives

Qualified individual would be responsible for building relationships with various clients that can use the PalavaHut Inc platform to market their product and services to the growing number of people who interacts with PalavaHut the online magazine. This position is commission based.

Viral Market Specialist

Qualified individuals would be responsible for carrying out the viral marketing strategy laid out by the Marketing and Sale Division. This person would utilize various established mediums such as twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Imeem and more to spread the articles and stories that are posted on PalavaHut and operate the company page on each of one or more third party social networking websites.

Event Marketing Director

Qualified individuals would be responsible for planning and executing PalavaHut Inc events across the world.

Information Technology Division

The Information Technology is responsible for development and maintenance of the company online properties. This division works behind the scenes to make sure that the information transferred on the web is safe and secure. PalavaHut is looking for young dedicated professionals who are willing to dedicate their time and talents to making sure every person who interacts with the website have a clean and safe experience.

Web Designer

Responsible to design, code and develop websites for the company. Will also be responsible to maintain and make changes to the production website for the company using skills in HTMLS, XHML, CSS, PHP, CFM and more. Knowledge of designing custom templates for CMS such as Joomla or WordPress. Must possess 2–5 years experience in developing professional looking website.

Computer Programmer

Responsible to develop new programs that can be used on the various production website ran for the company. Knowledge in developing extension and widget for CMS such as Joomla or WordPress. Knowledge of develop web application using PHP, Java, Javascript and other popular scripting technologies.

Multimedia and Graphic Designs Division

The Multimedia and Graphic Design Division of the company works with every other division to provide quality graphic products and solutions for their projects. This depart consist of creative individuals who are willing to learn new techniques and explore their creative sides on various projects that the company embarks on.

Multimedia Specialist

Responsible for creating video ad using flash and other video editing software for campaign. At least 2-5 years experience in video editing software is required for this job.

Graphic Design

Responsible for developing a number of advertising ads, images, signages, promotional items, brochures, posters, flyers, postcards, invitations, video board/matrix/LED board graphics and animations. Act as a creative consultant for other internal divisions. Participate in creative brainstorming and concept development, various duties will be assigned. Must possess 2–5 years experience in graphic design and multimedia application.
